With the recent announcement that Party Gaming plans to cut off its skins operators the online casino industry has seen some rocky changes.

Party Gaming has chosen to cut off the skins websites that were once essential to its growth as a new online casino operator. The skins site were responsible for sending hoards of internet traffic to such sites as Party Gaming and effectively helped them build their client base which now numbers in the millions. But in a bid to fight for competition and hang on to existing players, Party Gaming decided to cut ties with the skins.

An industry side well versed in the online casino business was quoted as saying: "Party Gaming made the decision to sever long-standing partnerships with these 'white-label' operators. Until now, most sites have concentrated on recruiting newcomers to online casino gambling but this move seems to dignify a new battle for the established players.”
