Ace Online Casinos - Survey Shows Public Favors Online Casinos
Although, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was signed by the President and accepted by The Senate, the American public does not see eye-to-eye with its representatives when it comes to online casinos. A recently published survey shows that fifty two percent of the people participating in the survey believe that online casinos gambling should be regulated and endorsed. Online casinos are regarded as an emerging medium, and people think that the government should take advantage of this medium instead of limiting access to it.
Other statistics show that while 40 percent said they think online casinos should be illegal, 41 percent said they should be legalized and permitted for use. This diversity shows that the new anti online casino act is uncalled for. Not only that there are as many people voting for online casinos as there are voting against, the voting tilts to the favoring side. The American public still wants to gamble at online casinos, and the new bill does not reflect the will of the public.
The picture becomes even clearer when online casinos lotteries are involved, with 71 percent of the participants say that have bought a ticket from such online casinos. Another interesting figure refers to the percentage of people who participated in online casinos sports betting – 34 percent! Legislators should have taken such surveys into account when addressing online gambling legislation. This is not the first published survey that shows that the public supports internet gambling. Nonetheless, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed.
